Together with his wife, Carl Friedrich Bucherer opens their first shop on the Falkenplatz in Lucerne. Bucherer’s artistic talent and his ability to sense new trends are well complemented by her realistic business sense. Success comes quickly. Alongside his work, Carl Friedrich is also an active philanthropist. He organises regular charity events and is one of the founders of the Lucerne charity shop. He receives various awards and honorary memberships for his work.
