Maintenance.

A watch is an acutely precise, mechanical instrument made from several hundred precision components. In order to ensure functionality and running performance for decades, every watch should be regularly serviced by an authorized service point about every four years. This maintenance includes complete movement disassembling; checking components for wear; cleaning; reassembling, including oiling and lubricating the movement; and cleaning the watch case and bracelet.
