Each one of the highly complicated movements underwent a tough 15-day test by the Swiss Chronometer Institute (COSC) before being awarded the much revered chronometer certification. The case is a complex structure of a total of 52 individual components whose brushed and polish finish lend the watch that special extra. Just like Carl F. Bucherer, Dr. h.c. Fritz Brun was also a pioneer in his time. Born in Lucerne in 1878, he is amongst the most influential people in the history of music in Switzerland. On the occasion of his 125th birthday, Carl F. Bucherer created the Patravi Tribute to Fritz Brun, an homage to the life and work of a great person who always went his own way.
