In 2008, Bucherer Montres S.A. presented the CFB A1000, an automatic caliber with peripheral oscillating weight which is a unique patented function allowing its user to have the beauty of a manual wind movement with the functionality of an automatic wind. Several timepieces have been built utilizing this caliber including the CFB A1001, CFB A1002, and CFB A1003. In 2011, Carl F. Bucherer presented the CFB A1004, which is integrated in the Patravi Calendar.
