The Carl F. Bucherer firm was founded in 1888, when Carl Friedrich Bucherer opened a watch and jewelry shop on on Falkenplatz in Lucerne. Even from the very beginning, the Bucherer family worked to combine the dual arts of watchmaking and jewelry making. Carl Friedrich Bucherer's two sons trained as a watchmaker and a jewelry maker, respectively, and the family began to combine that expertise into the beautiful luxury timepieces that would become their specialty.
Today, a Carl F. Bucherer watch is a symbol of both style and craftsmanship. The timepieces are designed to be functional and beautiful, and the dress watches in particular carry with them a sense of style and gravitas that is appropriate for any formal event. When you need a watch for that special occasion, wear a Carl F. Bucherer timepiece.
Today, there are five Carl F. Bucherer collections:
Each collection includes dress watches, from the Patravi AutoDate TwoTone, which weaves together stainless steel and 18 K rose gold into a brilliant bracelet, to the Manero Perpetual, which features an 18 K rose gold bracelet and case framing a watch face that includes a moon phase indicator and a perpetual calendar.
For women who truly want to shine, there is the Pathos Diva, which includes rose gold lattice work around its watch face; the Pathos Diva Joaillerie, which sparkles with 370 diamonds in the case, 96 diamonds in the face, and 404 diamonds in the bracelet; and the Pathos Diva Haute Joaillerie, with 110 diamonds in the watch face and even more sparkle.
