Successful ski racer and Carl F. Bucherer brand ambassador Wendy Holdener, who obtained gold and silver at the World Championships in St. Moritz in 2017, won a full set of medals at the Olympic Games in South Korea. With a gold medal in the alpine team event, silver in the slalom and bronze in the alpine combined, the Schwyz native has secured a place in the history books of Swiss sport.
The slopes mean the world to Wendy Holdener, who first hit the pistes when she was three years old. Since then she has been fascinated by the sport’s rush of speed and energy of movement. After numerous sporting successes as a slalom and combined racer, she joined Swiss Ski’s B squad before reaching her 18th birthday.
Thanks to her determination to constantly deliver her best performance and never give up, she is today one of the world’s best ski racers. Alongside her sports career, Wendy completed her training as a hotel manageress and turned professional in 2014.
