In addition, Carl F. Bucherer is simultaneously launching two special editions of this alluring timepiece, created in tribute to Nico Hischier, the Swiss-born captain of the New Jersey Devils ice hockey team in the United States – and a CFB brand ambassador.

The first, the Manero Central Counter Limited Edition, is being made to just 99 pieces – representing Nico’s birth year of 1999. It features a black, circle-brushed dial, silver sub-dials and stand-out red detailing – referencing the emblematic color both of Nico’s home canton, Valais, and Switzerland itself.

Lucky number 13

The second, a watch that represents his treasured jersey number: The Manero Central Counter Nico Hischier Edition is limited to just 13 pieces. Following the same colorways, it also features an emblematic number 13, in red, at the 1 o’clock position on the dial, and a special ‘13’ engraving on the case back (all a reference to 13 being Nico’s lucky number).
