Total commitment, absolute precision, and perfect teamwork are the values that Carl F. Bucherer shares with the Swiss national football teams. The two have worked together as partners since 2016. After an initial visit last fall, Carl F. Bucherer was pleased to welcome the players back to the manufactory in Lengnau. The day’s program brought together some of the top Swiss female athletes from three different fields of sport.
The players will soon head to the Women’s European championship, which will take place in the Netherlands this summer. Since the launch of the Patravi ScubaTec SFV Special Edition at Baselworld this year, brand ambassador Mujinga Kambundji has stayed in touch with the players. Mujinga Kambundji, the fastest woman in Switzerland, took the opportunity to lead the players through an intensive sprint training session in Magglingen. Afterwards, the players moved on to Lengnau, to the manufactory of the family business Carl F. Bucherer, where the program continued with brand ambassador Wendy Holdener, gold medalist in the Alpine combined event at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2017.
Joined by Sascha Moeri, CEO of Carl F. Bucherer, Laurent Prince, Sports Director of the Swiss Football Association, presented each player with their own personal Patravi ScubaTec SFV Special Edition. This striking sports watch proudly bears the Swiss national colors. Wendy Holdener, speaking from her own experience of vying for a title win, offered inspiring words for the players and wished them the best of luck for the European championship. The players will wear the Patravi ScubaTec SFV Special Edition to the tournament in the Netherlands this July. “We are proud to be a partner of the Swiss Football Association and thereby also of the Swiss women’s national team. We wish the ladies the best of luck, and hope to see them return not only with the watch on their wrists, but also with medals around their necks,” said Sascha Moeri.
