We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly. Consequently, we regard it as self-evident that we comply with the statutory requirements of the Swiss Federal Law on Data Protection (FDPA), the Ordinance to the Federal Law on Data Protection (OFDPA), the Telecommunications Law (FMG) as well as the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) and other provisions of Swiss and European Data Protection Law.

EXTENT AND PURPOSE OF THE COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA
When visiting our website
When you visit our website, our servers temporarily store every access in a log file.
The following data is stored by us:

The aforementioned information will not be linked to or stored with personal information.
Only in the case of an attack on the network infrastructure of www.carl-f-bucherer.com or in case of suspicion of another unauthorised or improper use of the website, the IP address will be evaluated for clarification and defense and, if necessary, used in criminal proceedings for identification and to bring legal action against the users concerned under civil and criminal law.

When making contact by registering a customer account and using the contact form
In order to contact us it is essential that you enter the following personal data truthfully (*mandatory):

The processing of your contact enquiry is our legal basis within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. This legal basis allows the processing of personal data within the scope of our "legitimate interest". Our legitimate interest is to process your contact.
By registering for the newsletter, the catalogue and/or the Magazin 1888, you consent to the processing of the data provided for the regular dispatch to the (email-) address you have provided. This consent constitutes our legal basis for the processing of your data within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
You can object to such data processing at any time if there are reasons in your particular situation which speak against data processing (seeContact“.)
The data in the customer account can be viewed and changed at any time. Finally, the customer can request the complete deletion of the customer account. If you wish to delete your customer account, please send us a request (see Contact“below).
For our display campaigns, we also use the technology of Sizmek Inc. 401 Park Avenue S, 10016 New York City / USA ("Sizmek"), which enables us to present you relevant and targeted advertising material and ads based on your interests and usage patterns. In addition, Sizmek also provides access to standard metrics such as click-through rates, clicks, impressions etc. to measure the success of our advertising measures.

BUCHERER uses so-called re-targeting technologies on the website. The user behaviour on the website is analysed in order to be able to offer the user customised advertising tailored to the user on partner websites. User behaviour is recorded under a pseudonym.
This site uses DoubleClick by Google, a service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses for this purpose the so-called DoubleClick cookie, which makes it possible to recognise the browser used by the user when visiting other websites. TRANSMISSION OF PERSONAL DATA ABROAD

RIGHT TO INFORMATION, DELETION AND CORRECTION

RETENTION OF DATA
