Manero Minute Repeater Anniversary

Each watch, limited to one piece only, features our three highest complications, all peripherally mounted: an automatic winding system, “floating” tourbillon and minute repeater regulator – which controls the speed at which hammers strike melodic gongs to tell the time with sound. Entirely designed, developed and manufactured in-house, the movement took six years to perfect and consists of 617 individual parts.

Astonishing finesse
The Manero Minute Repeater Anniversary is quite simply the pinnacle of our watchmaking prowess and a powerful expression of CFB’s rich history, engineering talent, and pioneering spirit. Equally technically ambitious and aesthetically exacting, this trio of watches epitomizes how our watchmaking skills and ability have been refined since 1888.

Each watch, limited to one piece only, features a peripherally mounted automatic winding system and a minute repeater regulator, as well as a floating tourbillon. Designed, developed and manufactured entirely in-house, the CFB MR3000 movement took six years to perfect and is comprised of 617 individual parts.

Triple peripheral
Through a sapphire crystal case back, each watch’s movement can be fully appreciated thanks to three peripherally mounted complications. First, the automatic winding system featuring a bidirectional oscillating weight made of 18 K gold, color-matched to each design. Next is CFB’s signature floating tourbillon: Neither mounted on the movement’s main plate nor attached to overlying bridges, it appears to float in space. Distinctively, CFB’s tourbillons are displayed at 12 o’clock, rather than 6 o’clock.

Finally, this watch features a peripherally mounted minute repeater regulator to control when hammers strike two gongs to sound hours, quarter hours and minutes. Communicating the time in this way – acoustically – remains one of the most complex achievements in the world of watchmaking. CFB has lent the complication additional uniqueness – unlike most such mechanisms, its minute repeater components are fully visible in the dial.
